The Atomic Hawx Ultra 130 is one of the highest-performance boots for recreational skiers. A 130 flex makes for unrivaled power and responsiveness that more aggressive and advanced skiers need out of their gear. The stiffer flex pattern the Hawx Ultra offers makes even the smallest input you send to the boot go right to the ski without ever skipping a beat. For a boot that offers this much performance, the fit isn't so overbearing that you can't ski in them all day. For the 23/24 season the Ultra got a liner update that helped to improve the fit as well; it's more anatomical. Good lateral stiffness also helps to get your skis to roll edge to edge quicker and more predictably. If you like to ski hard, have narrow feet and like a boot that won't ever hold you back regardless of how hard you're pushing it at the resort the Ultra 130 should be on your radar. Bootfitter's Notes
The Ultra 130 is built for skiers with narrow feet and skiers who prioritize a more performance-oriented fit and feel. The heel is firm, probably one of the more firm fits on the market, but small pressure points will come out of the heel and ankle area once the liner is molded to your feet. Length is on the more precise side but not so precise that sizing up is necessary and much better compared to previous versions of the boot. Instep is true for a low volume fit. There is enough space on top of the toes to keep you happy throughout the day, however, the toe box is more pointed so expect some pressure on the big toe and pinky toe. That can be easily resolved with a liner mold or shell bake if necessary.

The Ultra 130 is built for more advanced skiers with narrower feet or skiers who like a precise fit. This is one of the more popular higher flexing options that we carry because of how well they ski and how easy the fit is to modify. Awesome boot all around.
