The Atomic Maverick 105 CTI is a great ski for people who are adding a wider, all-mountain capable, ski to the quiver or skiers who spend a ton of time looking for softer snow and want one of the best tools for the job. The Maverick 105 isn't quite as powerful as the more narrow Maverick 95 but it's no slouch in the power category and can be skied aggressively without ever skipping a beat or feeling nervous. On groomers, it's a little slow edge to edge, as most wider skis are, but the Maverick 105 still feels precise and provides solid grip if you find yourself bombing groomers when the trees or soft snow are hard to find. A unique shape and rocker profile allows the Mav 105 to be pivoted easily through technical terrain and also make the turn initiation on the ski effortless. The Maverick 105 is great at what it's built for but offers enough versatility to be skied confidently outside of its marketed comfort zone. We skied these through a variety of conditions (groomer days at Sunapee, wet heavy snow at Killington, and a few feet of blower pow in Utah) and haven't found a scenario where the Mav 105 really struggles. Awesome ski, and one of the better options in the wider-waisted all-mountain ski category. 

Who is this ski for? Skiers of almost any ability looking for a ski that's awesome in soft snow but needs a ski that can hang over a variety of conditions. 

Who isn't this ski for? Skiers looking for a ski with unreal groomer performance or the most maneuverable ski out there. The Mav 105 is neither of those things but being in the middle of the goalposts is a good place to be.
