The EST version of one of Burton's best. From hard-charging to mellow cruisers, the Escapade has it covered. It's a mid-flex binding that has just enough beef to handle some faster riding. The real upside of the Escapade is how comfortable and forgiving it is, a hammock that sits in between your foot and the highback creates suspension and gives the binding next-level predictability. You lean into it, and it bends precisely how you think it will. While the Genesis can definitely handle whatever you throw it at, it's not the most rigid binding, so someone whose main priority is stability might find it feels it lacks substance at high speeds.

Of course, this is the EST version of the binding, so it's not going to work on every board but if you have a Burton board or another EST channel board get this over the Re:Flex version unless you want to move it around from multiple boards. While the Re:Flex will no doubt be sick, EST gives you limitless adjustability. The Escapade works for a wide variety of riding styles; anyone who appreciates a smooth feel that's on the more forgiving side will love this binding.
