The Giro Tor spherical MIPS helmet is a newer style for Giro. Giro sought after making an extremely light and safe helmet to meet your everyday needs regardless of where you are on the mountain. They achieved this with the use of their hybrid construction which consists of two layers, a durable hard shell ventilated upper and a lightweight molded lower and sidewall. Sandwiched between the outer layer and your noggin’ you have Giro’s proprietary Spherical Technology. Think of this as a ball and socket joint, when this is paired with MIPS you get one of the best helmets to protect your head. Our testers who road with the Giro Tor this past season loved its warmth and comfort and how well it integrates with goggles, especially the Giro Contour goggle.
