K2 Mindbender 89 Ti Skis 2025
An all-mountain ski that prefers groomers. It has a stout feel underfoot for some awesome high-speed stability and carving, but a more energetic feel toward the tip and tail of the ski gives it some personality. It provides great confidence without feeling too demanding.
MIND = BENT.
The new K2 Mindbender 89 Ti is back this year as one of the more powerful skis in the groomer-focused all-mountain category. This is a solid option for any skiers who ski more aggressively and demand a stable ski that handles hard snow with strength. If power is your priority, the Mindbender is one of the best options. The trade-off for such a powerful feel is the ski is more taxing at lower speeds. The Mindbender is one of the more demanding options among skis that live around 90mm in waist width. A Ripstick 88 or the new Enforcer 89 are going to feel like less work and less sluggish at lower speeds. This will be most noticeable for progressing skiers looking for a forgiving ski, or skiers who spend a lot of time in more technical off-trail terrain and bumps. The Mindbender 89Ti is built for skiers who spend most of their time on groomers at high speeds because it offers unmatched hard-snow grip and does not have a speed limit.
Who's this ski for? Groomer rippers who prioritize stability but don't want a ski that's too frontside-focused. You want some energy for some shorter radius carving or a trip through the bumps or trees.
Who isn't this ski for? Brand new skiers and playful skiers/skiers who want a ski that's easy to toss around and slarve through some tighter terrain.
Tech Specs
Anyone who prioritizes groomer performance will be happy on this ski. A good balance of having stability and high-speed performance without getting on a race ski. It's less forgiving than most skis in this category, but it also has more high-speed confidence than most skis in this category.
