Lange LX 120 HV Ski Boots 2025
Good skier? Wider foot shape? Go LX 120. It drives skis well without feeling overbearing for wider foot shapes. It's warm and easy to put on making it a great option for comfort minded skiers as well. It does offer a good solid feel in the heel pocket while being generous in the places wider feet need space.
LANGE DOES MAKE A GOOD HIGH VOLUME BOOT.
A higher performance ski boot for feet that need a little more volume, whether it be width or instep, the LX 120 is for wider than average feet. The flex and power transfer to your skis is smooth and predictable to make your skiing feel more efficient. While the LX 120 is enough boot for most expert skiers it is a great boot for skiers that want to progress and build their skills out on the hill. More experienced skiers looking for more power would be better off in the 130 flex Lange LX, but not everyone needs to be in the stiffest boots out there. The Lange LX 120 makes sense for progressing skiers who have wider feet but want to have a boot they can grow with (skill wise).
Bootfitter's Notes
The LX 120 is precise in all the places you'd like a boot to be, while being generous for wider foot shapes. It's firm in the heel and ankle to keep you stable and secure while offering enough generosity on the instep to allow for some breathing room. The forefoot isn't overbearing and can accomodate wider feet easily but the LX isn't the most generous fitting HV boot on the market. Length feels true to size. This is one of the easier 120 flex boots to put on and take off.
