The Marker Cruise 10 is light as a feather while still feeling solid enough to perform well. It's not as light as the Marker Alpinist bindings, but power transfer from boot to ski is much more confidence-inspiring -- which is why we brought in the Cruise for this season. A redesigned toe piece allows for easy step into the pins; if you've struggled with getting into pin bindings before, you'll appreciate this feature. The heel piece rotates with little effort to make transitioning from uphill to downhill mode a breeze. Marker designed this lightweight binding to be easy to use, making it a great option for skiers of all abilities. There are three climbing heights on the heel piece: 0 degrees, 8 degrees, and 12 degrees, to give you plenty of options on the ascent. The Cruise 10 is light enough for people counting grams on the touring side of things but strong enough to handle more aggressive descents.
