The new S/Pro Alpha line, from Salomon, replaces the Salomon S/Max line. The S/Max boots were great but the S/Pro Alphas are better across the board as far as ski boots are supposed to fit. The S/Pro Alpha 110 makes sense for progressing intermediate skiers who have a low volume foot or experienced skiers who don't want the stiffest boot but still want good performance. For a 110 flex, the S/Pro Alpha feels strong and smooth when you need to put the power down while allowing your skiing to feel more predictable and effortless. If you want more power and a less plush liner, check out the S/Pro Alpha 120 or 130. 

How's the fit? Precise in all the right places without being overbearing. Length, instep pressure and width feel true for a low volume boot. The liner is a more plush than other boots in this category while still offering awesome heel and foot retention to keep you skiing at your best.
